June 27-29
Dear Journal,
I've had so many sights to see in Cincinnati, I didn't have time to write! Well, let me start at the beginning. On June 26th, we packed for our two week and four day trip. We got off early. It took us about two hours to drive southwest for the 115 miles between Cincinnati and Dublin. When we got there, we checked into the Hilton Netherland Plaza. Our hotel is in the 90-year old Carew tower.
Our noom at the hotel: luxury!
The first thing we did was see the top floor. It was kind of scary looking down on Cincinnati. Maddie desperately wanted to go, and so did I. Then we headed off to the Creation museum.

We went through the 7 c's of history exibit, and we watched a movie in the planetarium. After that we went back to the hotel and slept. The next morning we got up and went for a stroll along the Ohio river. We looked at it from a bridge, Kentcky and Ohio.

It was almost lunchtime when we got back. We headed to a restaraunt called Local 127 .

It was one you would call fancy. Then we went to Newport aquarium. We liked going through the tunnel.
Aren't they so adorable?
After seeing the fish, we headed back to the hotel. We got in the pool for a swim. All too soon we had to go back to the room and go to sleep. When we woke up, we went to King's Island.
Weeeeee!
We rode a lot of roller coasters. Finally, we went back to the hotel, and I have a couple minutes to write. In all, we traveled 109.7 miles in Cincinnati. Well, anyway
Good night,

July 3-5 Dear Journal,
I know I haven't written in three days. Don't remind me. We traveled northeast. We're back in in Columbus, after driving 83.3 miles in 1 hour and 23 minutes. We should've stayed in our house. But instead, we're in an Embassy suites (I like the breakfast and the lobby, but there's no place like home). Well, we went to COSI , and watched a movie on the Extreme screen.
We drove to the historic Ohio statehouse . The tour guide was really good.

I really liked how they had different habitat rooms. It was time to go to the hotel when we were done. We have traveled 122 miles in Columbus. You already know what I am going to say, but I'll say it anyway:

Dear Journal,
We're in our cabin at Hocking hills, after driving Southwest for 185 miles in 4 hours and 1 minute. On the 12th we went to Old man's cave.
It does look like a face, doesn't it?
It was tiring, but beautiful. The next day we went to Ash Cave.
Horseshoe at ash cave
It was fun to see the waterfall with the wind in our faces. Today we hiked to Cantwell cliffs.
Ooooh...
It was amazing, I mean the formations. Then it was time to go to the cabin. So we had picnics over waterfalls, hiked by gigantic trees, and I loved it all. We traveled 2 3/4 of a mile. Tomorrow we go home! We will travel 70.1 miles for 1 hour and 39 minutes. Well,
